Our Mission

The Carnell Couch Foundational Learning Organization is a 501c3 non-profit that provides relevant education and enrichment opportunities using a multi - disciplinary approach to reach motivated, underrepresented, and non-traditional learners looking for educational alternatives to enhance their long-term success. Our organization seeks to identify, assess, equip and empower motivated learners of all ages to find mentors, pursue healthy lifestyles, develop soft skills, create inclusive spaces and foster collaborations for continued development through innovative learning and technology. 

Our Initiatives

Mentorship

We believe in the power of mentorship, community building, enrichment, and counseling. Our non-profit is dedicated to helping people of all ages find mentors that can help advance their personal and professional goals.

E-Learning & Webinars 

We understand that learning happens in diverse ways. We seek to support e-learning and webinar opportunities that help to upskill the community for available opportunities and entrepreneurship. That now includes practical AI training, so our community learns to actually use AI rather than just hear about it.

Skill Training

We seek to partner with organizations and companies to provide additional skill development opportunities for underrepresented community members, both internally and externally, with an eye on where the job market is actually headed, including AI and skilled trades like HVAC and plumbing. Our goal is to increase representation, recruitment, and retention within companies and organizations. We accomplish this by utilizing our networks, partnering with organizations, and managing the execution of programming.

Career Development 

We are committed to helping individuals find their way to the career of their dreams using the tools of the future. We seek to partner with companies and organizations who also share this goal. We recognize the influence AI and new technology are having on our world, and we hope to create an impact for our community to thrive, whether that means a corporate career, entrepreneurship, or a skilled trade, and to create long term, sustainable job opportunities.
